5 Oceans Diving is specialized in providing fast, innovative repair and maintenance solutions to the maritime industry. With our in-house knowledge and extensive worldwide network, we can provide our clients with globally operated fleets for (underwater) repairs and routine maintenance requirements.

Our goal is to deliver unrivaled service 24/7 for all kinds of services to prevent vessels from dry-docking. Our services vary from standard propeller polishings and class inspections, to UW welding repairs, Propeller repairs and other permanent class approved solutions. We are also aiming and are capable to perform habitat seal repairs and/or thruster exchanges. 

What will your daily tasks be?

As a commercial diver at 5 Oceans Diving, you will perform underwater maintenance and repairs to the shipping industry. The working locations are mostly in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Flushing, Antwerp, Hamburg, and Le Havre, but can be on worldwide locations as well. When you are not performing your expertise at vessels location, you are expected to support our workshop for general equipment maintenance, improve safety and work on new innovative projects. If you have sufficient experience in the shipping industry, you can also work from home to implement new procedures or protocols. 

What do we expect from you?

  • Basic or advanced experience in the shipping industry, or willing to learn this.
  • English / Dutch speaking.
  • Valid SSE diving certificates. Dutch NDC certification is a plus, but not a requirement. We are able to support you in receiving this certification.
  • Flexible in your working hours.
  • Within 100km of our headquarters in Oss (NL), or willing to relocate. Housing/lodging is discussable.
